Missions

"Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them.  And when they saw him they worshiped him, but some doubted.  And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:16-20

The Will of Christ for His Church: The Great Commission

There are many aspects to the above command.  One aspect is reflected in our core value concerning the sharing of the Gospel: To be missional in proclamation at home and abroad by making Christ known as a community.

This core value is not carried out by a ministry but it is carried out by the church, including the members of the church.  Network evangelism is a ministry to challenge, to equip and to encourage the church to make Christ known primarily through relationships.

Cambodia

Paul and Susan Lee have been called to help in establishing and strengthening the national-led church in Cambodia. They partner with national leaders who have the vision and heart to shepherd and serve the church, which is faithful in its worship and diligent in its witness and mission. Paul is serving as a co-team leader, overseeing the other field missionaries on the team and providing direction for future church planting work. He also is working alongside Cambodian church leaders, helping to equip them through discipleship and training.  Susan is homeschooling the children and learning the language and culture. She is currently helping with outreach efforts through English teaching, serves as the Short-term Team Coordinator, and is a part of a sub-team researching ways the team can get involved in trafficked ministry.
